Daniel P. Ruggiero has been an active member
of the Ohio bar since 1973. Dan began his career with the Ohio Attorney
General's Office serving as Assistant Chief of the Special Litigation and
Transportation Sections from 1973 to 1978. In 1978, Dan moved to Portsmouth
where he has been continuously engaged in the private practice of law. He
concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense,
medical and chiropractic malpractice, estate planning, and business.
Dan graduated Miami University in 1969, and
obtained his law degree from the University of Toledo in 1973.
He is admitted to practice before all Ohio
courts. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court
for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the
Sixth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Dan is a member of the Ohio Association of
Civil Trial Attorneys and served on its Executive Committee from 1985-1991. He
is past president of the Portsmouth/Scioto County Bar Association and served on
the Board of Trustees for 4 years. |

Dan
is also a member of the American
Board of Trial Advocates; Defense
Research Institute; American Bar
Association; Who's Who in the
Midwest
and Who's Who in American
Law.
Dan is a member of the Scioto
County
Area Foundation and served as its
Chairman from 1990-1992. He is a
member and past president of the
Portsmouth Rotary Club, Portsmouth
Area Chamber of Commerce and the
United Way of Scioto County. Dan is
a past president of the Portsmouth
Trojan Athletic Booster Club and the
south Central Ohio Miami University
Alumni Chapter. |
